Early experience:
- Worked in customer-facing roles from age 16, including bar/restaurant positions. Learned vital skills like politeness, patience, taking direction, and time management.
Office-based customer service / debt advisor role:
- Managed a caseload of clients in a fast-paced environment.
- Built budgets, analysed paperwork, wrote legal documents, and made applications on behalf of clients.
- Developed empathy, trustworthiness, confidentiality, and strengthened communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
Bookkeeping training (2016):
- Gained Level 2 AAT Certificate in Accounting at a well-known accountancy firm.
- Diversified financial skills, strengthening bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.

- Returned to previous company as Technical Support Officer and SME, then promoted to Office Manager.
- Handled high-level issues, staff support, stakeholder relationships, and complaint management.
- Created and implemented staff training courses.
- Ran multiple staff calendars, detailed administration, and implemented new department processes from scratch.
- Monitored staff output, identified knowledge gaps, and trained staff for success.
- Reviewed and implemented legislation/regulation changes, improving efficiency and compliance.

My strongest skills are organisation, time management, accuracy, and communication - all of which I’ve been consistently praised and rewarded for throughout my career. These strengths allow me to deliver a reliable, high-quality service tailored to each client’s needs.
Outside of work, my partner and I are busy bringing up our two young boys. We love travelling, cooking, watching films, and getting outdoors whenever we can. I value the flexibility that running my own business gives me in balancing work and family life.
